Or maybe you want to put into practice all the tips and tricks you have learned by attending Melbourne’s Part 1 and Part 2 photography courses? Perhaps you just want to spend 3 days capturing images of an Indonesian gem that you will be proud to enlarge and hang on your wall? Whatever your reason, you are going to have a memorable 3 days of photography and touring on Belitung Island.

During this action-packed “hands-on” photo tour you will learn how to “see” light, improve your compositional skills and think ahead as to how you want your final image to appear, knowing that Adobe Photoshop can enhance your images.
There is a lighthouse on one of the islands we visit, and maybe we can climb to the top to capture amazing views.
Our boat trips are carried out using sturdy, sea-worthy fishing boats. We travel together and Melbourne will conduct mini-workshops at various times so that you will be prepared for what is ahead. Questions are encouraged. Melbourne believes by shooting lots and making mistakes, you will learn by those mistakes.
Massive rock formations, beach scenes, a fishing village and a market. Plenty of subjects for you to embrace and create beautiful and unique images. When you return from this photo tour and workshop you will have the confidence to take complete creative control of your camera and lenses. You will be exposed to new techniques and will draw upon Melbourne’s 30+ years of experience. The key to this tour is that Melbourne will conduct informal reviews usually at lunch or dinner, and as a group we discuss some of our images. It’s amazing how much you can learn from others.
During your time on Belitung Island everything will be taken care of. You will be able to concentrate on your photography because all costs for accomodation, transportation, meals and guides are included in the price of the tour.
