Jakarta’s Chinatown is steeped in history and is a must-see for both visitors and residents alike. During Melbourne’s photo tour and workshop you will be capturing photographs of colourful sites and friendly people. Bustling streets, alleyways and a kampung. Maybe there will be time to visit a temple. Load up with memory cards because you will be shooting, shooting, shooting. You will have captured many memories by the time the tour is over and it is likely that you will want to enlarge a few of the images and use them as photo decor.As in all of Melbourne’s workshops, he will be advising and coaching each of the small group of participants. Here’s the opportunity of drawing from the knowledge of one of
south - east Asia’s most experienced photographers. This is the workshop to attend if you want to hone your photo-journalistic style and get those shots like you see in booksand magazines.After the photo tour we have an informal group review over lunch in a nearby restaurant. Cost of lunch is not included in the photo tour cost. If time is tight and you have another appointment you can skip lunch and the review.
Targeted at those who have attended Melbourne’s Part 1 and Part 2 photography courses, this extension to those courses will give you actual “hands-on” experience in real life situations and will enable you to grow your camera skills. If you a little “rusty” with your camera familiarity, Melbourne will be there to make suggestions and answer your questions.
The photo tour and workshop starts at 8.15 am. and we end the walk at about 12 noon. Cost for this photo tour and workshop is IDR 850,000 payable in advance.
