Photoshop for PhotographersSeminars and Workshopswith Melbourne – The PhotographerCapturing images with a digital camera is fun, but it is only the first step in producing beautiful and creative photography.Photoshop is the undisputed leader in photo-editing software and as a photographer, when you arm yourself with knowledge of this powerful program you will be able to transform your images into memorable photographs that you or your friends will be pleased to hang on their walls as a piece of photo décor.Melbourne has been a photographer for over 30 years and has photographed assignments all over the world. He started working with Photoshop in 1993 using Photoshop version 4. He understands that Photoshop can appear to be overwhelming when you are starting out, so he developed two one-day courses that will guide you through the program at an easy pace. The first Photoshop seminar is titled Session A “Introduction to Photoshop for Photographers”.Aimed at those who have not fully immersed themselves in the wonders of Photoshop. Maybe you have Photoshop installed but have only played around with a few of the tools and are not sure of why certain things happen one time, and don’t happen another time! The 6 to 7 hours you invest in this seminar will save you hundreds of hours wading through instruction manuals! In this one-day seminar you will learn all about the major tools and features of the program as Melbourne carries out an A to Z tour of the program. A comprehensive set of notes is included in the package.By the time you have completed the seminar you will have experienced a thorough overview of the program and not once will you have had to refer to an 800 page manual. You will then be equipped to practice at home and will no longer have apprehensions about the program.

(In Session B, a laptop and Photoshop is required). We will supply a set of course notes, and you should be making your own notes as we progress through the program, so bring a thick notepad to write on.If you like, bring a couple of your own digital images and if we have time, we may be able to “tweak” them a little in Photoshop! So what do you think? Do you want to make a remarkable improvement to your Photoshop skills by investing time with one of south-east Asia’s most experienced photographers? The second course Session “B” is a hands-on workshop where you will be using Photoshop on your own laptop and carrying out typical manipulations and enhancements that professional photographers use on daily basis to perfect their images.
